AODA Assessment/Substance Abuse (AIR)
ARC will help people and families as they navigate their way through what can sometimes be a challenging time. Our alcohol and other drug assessment will help determine what type of education or if needed treatment is necessary if you or your loved one is struggling with alcohol and/or drugs. Whatever the case, our trained assessors are here to help determine the root cause of the behavior through our assessment process, and assist with services to intervene early.
Assessment — Information — Referral
***If you were arrested/convicted of an OWI/DUI charge/arrest, this is the wrong assessment. Refer to the OWI page under the ‘assessments’ tab.
What is an AIR Assessment?
During the assessment process, you or your loved one will meet with the assessor for approximately one hour. During this time, the assessor gathers information to better understand the root cause of the alcohol and drug use, mental health or trauma, and provides education or treatment referrals.
What is the purpose?
The purpose of this assessment is to discuss and evaluate your use of alcohol and other drugs as the result. The result of the assessment is the development of a Referral Plan designed to reduce your risk of any future health or impairment related to your use.
How do I do the assessment?
The assessment will be an in person appointment at our office in Pewaukee. We are located in the West Wind Office Park on the corner of Hwy 164 and Paul Rd and our suite is on the top floor. The assessment is approximately an hour and is a conversational meeting.
