Wake Up Call Backpack Materials

ARC’s Wake Up Call Backpack program features a backpack search designed for teachers, coaches, counselors, administrators and other professionals working with students to help them identify signs of possible substance use and vaping. Some students will go to great lengths to cover up substance use and to conceal vaping devices and substances they slip into school. The goal of this presentation is to provide education and awareness to educators so they know how seemingly innocent items can be an indication of substance use and what vaping devices are common among students. Time is built into the presentation for attendees to have the opportunity to touch and feel many different vaping devices and concealment items.
